Daily duas: supplications for every part of the day

18 supplications for daily life, each with the Arabic, a transliteration, the English meaning and its reference. They are the same duas the MyMasjidScreen app shows under Daily Dua, so a dua shared from a phone opens on its own page here.

Dua of the Week: Entering the Mosque

I seek refuge in Allah the Almighty, by His Noble Face, and by His Primordial Power, from Satan the outcast. In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

When a person steps across the threshold of a place of worship, they pause to mentally reset before entering a sacred space. Whispering these words asks the individual to leave worldly distractions behind, acknowledge a higher protection, and consciously open their heart to receive compassion and grace.
